Il Belice Extra Virgin Olive Oil is made exclusively from Nocellara del Belice cultivar (D.O.P) and produced in the 'Valle del Belice' in the south west area of Sicily.
Our olives are hand-picked and cold-pressed within 12 hours, as tradition dictates, to ensure our olive oil keeps all the characteristics of excellence for which it is known worldwide.
Suitable for vegans. Gluten free.
Medium body with an intense aroma of fresh green olives.
It has a rich flavour, slightly peppery with hints of artichokes, tomatoes and a smooth after-taste of almonds.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Il Belice Extra Virgin Olive Oil is best kept in dark, glass bottles or in tins. Some cloudiness or natural sedimentation may occur as this product is unfiltered.
Please note: Below 6°C/42.8°F, extra virgin olive oil will partially solidify but the quality will not be affected - once the oil is brought back to room temperature, it will return to its normal consistency and colour.
